Peer Facilitators
In an effort to foster reflection and inquiry, you will be given time at the end of each day to gather in small groups to discuss conference proceedings, and how they relate to their campuses and initiatives. Peer facilitators have been selected based on previous experience with student organizing and project development in the areas of sustainability and social justice. We encourage you to make use of the peer facilitators as resources and guides; they will be present during conference proceedings, moderating discussions and helping to inform the open space session on Sunday.
Your Peer Facilitators:
A diverse group of 10-12 students will be assigned a peer facilitator: a young sustainability leader with experience in student organizing, program design, etc. who will facilitate conversations each evening to aid delegates in investigating conference content and its relation to their organizations and campuses. Facilitators will also be able to provide resources, support, and guidance throughout the conference, and may be present at workshops and presentations to function as a moderator.
